Leaked features, expected release of Nokia D1C, Nokia's next android smartphone [VIDEO]
There are lots of rumors about Nokia's upcoming release. Some are saying it's a smartphone and some argue that it is a tablet. Information is leaked that Nokia will launch new android smartphones in late 2016 and mid-2017.
According to the NokiaPowerUser as per a report published in a Vietnamese publication, James Rutherfoord, CEO of mobile device commodities of Microsoft Asia-Pacific, HMD Global planned to launch two new phone products in the fourth quarter 2016 and at least two smartphones in the early second quarter 2017.
Chinese website ithome published that next model of Nokia, Nokia D1C will be released in three colors, black, white and gold. And the only golden version of the phone is equipped with metal body and fingerprint recognition in the home button while other are made of the metal box and plastic rear case.
Some of the heard features of new Nokia D1C are Snapdragon 820 or 430 processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory. There will be a 16-megapixel primary camera with autofocus and 8-megapixel front facing the camera for a selfie. Both the cameras will support full HD recording.
Nokia D1C will run Android 7.0 Nougat. The screen will be 5" or 5.5" with 2K resolution display in IP68 water and dust resistant case. These features show that it will be a mid-ranged phone from Nokia. It's been a long time since Nokia released a smartphone, so everyone is hoping that they will make a remarkable comeback.
Nokia confirmed that CEO Rajeev Suri will be speaking at MWC 2017, everyone is hoping that he will make an announcement of new android smartphones. Other than that Nokia can release two or three other smartphones along with Nokia D1C before this year ending.
I think Nokia will launch some special features to make their name count in a race of mid range phone which are selling the most right now because they are out from last two years.
