Pokemon Sun And Moon Turns Into Nintendo's Fastest Selling Game in America [VIDEO]
It was thought to be a potential substance, but nobody actually even assumed that Nintendo's Stunner Pokemon Sun and Moon would turn into the supreme blockbuster hit in America's gaming market. According to the company's recent revelation, Pokemon Sun and Moon has turned into Nintendo's quickest selling game in the whole of the United States.
As per a most recent report by Businesswire, within a short span of two weeks from its launch the game has seen the fastest selling peak with its sales already smashing to a 3.7 million units. That's an 85 percent increase as compared with the predecessor record holders, Pokemon X and Y, over a similar span of time after its launch in 2013.
According to GameSpot, its previous title Pokemon X and Y remain the best-selling 3DS games ever for the time being, with a resounding 15.64 million units sold till September 30, but this statistics may not take much time to change as the latest scores suggest a record-breaking 2 million copies of Sun And Moon were sold within the first three days in Japan.
Since its advent in 1996 with Pokemon Red and Blue, Nintendo recently stated that it has sold more than 280 million units of Pokemon related games and Softwares till now. This is obviously a superlative stretch in the graphs of sales for Nintendo for a 20 years span of time.
Although, Nintendo pushed no credits for Pokemon Go in this revelation. But it can't be denied as Nintendo's August 2016 record suggest an estimate of nearly 45 million daily players for the same. However, Sun and Moon's popularity was quite indicated with its demo version breaking all records of Nintendo's previous masterpieces. Pokemon Sun and Moon still expected to reach a lot of heights.
