The Nintendo NES Classic Edition console has been a hit since last year's season, as a matter of fact; the device even went out of stock. Now, stocks of the NES Classic Edition will be available at GameStop this week but it is limited to one unit per customer only.

According to GameSpot, the Nintendo NES Classic Edition is still a hard-to-find system since in retailers mostly everywhere doesn't have stocks. Nevertheless, there is good news as consumers might have another chance of obtaining one this week through GameStop. The retailer already announced that it will be receiving new shipments of the system in this week at its US stores, starting today.

GameSpot also stated that there will be a limited number of units available and the shoppers can only purchase one unit. Additionally, GameStop sales associate at one store stated that its shipments are frequently only two systems at a time and they were sold right away.

As a refresher, Polygon stated that the Nintendo NES Classic Edition, a miniaturized replica of the Nintendo Entertainment System. This system was launched last November 11 and was sold out almost instantly.

The retailers worked hard to gain more stock since holiday replenishment of stocks were quickly sold out. It can be remembered that Nintendo took a fair amount of criticism since the company wasn't able to supply the demand of its patrons.

The Nintendo NES Classic Edition is tagged at $59.99 and it comes pre-installed with 30 golden oldie titles and a duplication of the original controller. However, the Japanese tech giant didn't include any way to add games to the console but earlier this month hackers found a technique to do so with the use of USB cord that links to the device's power supply.

With the Nintendo NES Classic Edition being available at GameStop this would be a great chance for the patrons to grab one. But then, they should keep in mind that the stocks were limited to one unit per person.
