Final Fantasy franchise's fans will be interested to know that it has been confirmed recently that "Final Fantasy XII" Remaster is going to be released for the PlayStation 4, and the release date is also revealed. This was the final game in the franchise, which was released for the PlayStation 2 all those in 2006. Square Enix is now going to orderly it up a little bit and release it for the PlayStation 4.

Square Enix has made the announcement at a special event in Tokyo where the 30th anniversary of the franchise was being celebrated. It has confirmed there on when the game is going to be released in Japan and other markets like North America and Europe.

"Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age" will launch for PlayStation 4 in North America and Europe on July 11th, and on July 13th it will be made available in Japan and Asia. In Japan, it will cost 6,800 yen, as per Gemastu.

The publisher has also confirmed that the games features updated characters and cut scenes, improved environments, runs on respectable 1080p, brings a new soundtrack in 7.1 surround, and also have a trial mode during which players can take on monsters in up to 100 successive rounds.

The game is based on the international version that has came out a year later in Japan and boosted the already deep RPG with additional Licence Boards, as well as guest character and summon controls. Many observe "Final Fantasy XII" to be the last "great" game in the series, previous the discordant "Final Fantasy XIII" trilogy. If you fall into that camp, or have merely exhausted "Final Fantasy XV" already then this game is for you. It's a little way off, but that's for the best, it's not like "Final Fantasy VII Remake," which is coming out any time soon.
