Asus was extensively expected to unveil the Zenfone 4 during the CES last month, but the company took the wraps off the Zenfone AR and the Zenfone Zoom in its place. However, the reports now claim that the Asus Zenfone 4 flagship phone might be launched sometime in May this year. And recently the smartphone has been spotted on a benchmark website, which reveals its specifications and features.

The GXFBench listing for the Asus ZenFone 4 has been spotted by the The Android Soul. According to the benchmark listing, the Asus ZenFone 4 will reportedly feature a 5.7-inch Quad HD display. The smartphone will support 6 GB of RAM and will be powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor, which will be clocked at 2.1GHz.

Asus ZenFone 4 is listed as housing 64 GB of inbuilt storage and said to be coming with pre-loaded Android 7.0 Nougat. The Asus smartphone is also listed having a 21MP primary camera, as well as an 8MP front shooter, as per Tech Times

However, this is not the first time when details related to the Asus ZenFone 4 have surfaced online. Older rumors also hint to the handset touting a smaller 5.2-inch FHD display with a 4850 mAh battery. In January, one Asus device, sported the model number X00GD, was also spotted on TENAA, which is the Chinese equivalent of FCC.

The previous leaked specs for the Asus ZenFone 4, on the other hand, do not match the latest benchmark revelations. However some reports suggest that the new spec hints at the smartphone listed on GFXBench might not be the Asus ZenFone 4, but the ZenFone 3 Deluxe. As per a BGR report, considering the Asus' tradition, the company is again possible to launch multiple variants of the Asus Zenfone 4 with similar names.

In the coming days we will have more clarity about Asus latest offering. Right now, it is highly uncertain that Asus ZenFone 4 will be announced at the MWC; however the end of the second quarter seems much more credible.
