It hasn't been six months since "Titanfall 2" has been released to the public but the game already has its fair shares of good and bad reviews. The total expected sales of "Titanfall 2" is not meeting the primary expectations of the company. However, EA is not waving a white flag just yet.

According to VG24/7, EA actually sees the performance of "Titanfall 2" in a successful light and does not agree with the critics who are saying that the game is putting the company in a sinking ship. In fact, in a call to investors following the Q3 results, EA CEO Andrew Wilson talked about the performance of "Titanfall 2."

"We're not seeing it as underperformance at this juncture," said Wilson about the "Titanfall 2." "What we have demonstrated as an organisation is that with great games, we can sell them for many months and often many years," he added.

According to IGN, Andrew Wilson also compared "Titanfall 2" to the "Battlefield" franchise in terms of sales performance. It can be noted that while "Battlefield" didn't really have an impressive start, it actually continued to sell even years after the initial launch at a slow and steady pace.

To say that "Titanfall 2" is underperforming might be a little too early considering that it has not been a year yet since the game was released. Also, other games that were released in Oct. 2016 together with "Titanfall 2" have also been met with lukewarm response in terms of sales.

Meanwhile, there are also players who have been raving about "Titanfall 2" since it was released to the public. However, it's also too early to say if EA will consider developing a third installment for the "Titanfall" franchise.

In the meantime, players can enjoy the game with "Titanfall 2" new Live Fire mode and maps in action. Two new maps Meadow and Stack, have been specifically designed for the Live Fire mode.
