After years of silence, "Fullmetal Alchemist" will be rolling out at the end of this year with the first glimpse of the live-action adaptation of the anime. In the past week, a photo of one of the protagonist has been revealed and here are the details.
Polygon reports that a recent post from "Fullmetal Alchemist" features Alphonse Elric, the bionic little brother of Edward Alphonse. The image of Alphonse Elric was released to commemorate the official release date of the movie adaptation this year.
The photo shows the build and the look of what fans might expect for "Fullmetal Alchemist" film adaptation of the anime. The photo also features the upper body shot of Edward's younger brother in the character's well-known suit of armor.
Many fans of "Fullmetal Alchemist" are worried that the movie adaptation may be a flop and possibly can't deliver what the fans truly want. However, some rumors say that that the upcoming movie will look high-end base on the image and the teaser trailer.
With a couple of iterations of "Fullmetal Alchemist" being popular over the years, MovieWeb reports that this is the first attempt to bring the anime into the movie scene. That's why fans have been asking a lot of questions whether the film will be a spectacular movie to watch.
According to the movie's director Fumihiko Sori, "Fullmetal Alchemist" will follow that same style as the anime has used before. Meaning, the director has created a way to mix the Japanese characters and the European background for the movie
"Fullmetal Alchemist" follows the story of brothers Edward and Alphonse Elric who wants to be State Alchemist to get access to the Philosopher's Stone. The said artifact is believed to have powers that can regain both of the characters' lost arm and body. The movie adaptation is said to be released on December 1, 2017.
