Great news! The fourth "Iron Man" sequel is potentially being filmed and this was no rumors anymore as Robert Downey Jr. dropped hints about it. Iron Man himself teased fans about his upcoming movie while guesting on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. Find out what fans should expect.

Above all the Avengers, Iron Man is the most favorite and this has been proven by fans who were yearning for the next "Iron Man" film since the last installment. According to a report, supporters were disappointed when the hit American superhero wasn't included in the lineup. But in the recent interview conducted by the comedian-host, Ellen DeGeneres, Downey brought up the hope of his supporters.

According to Downey, he has already talked with Marvel about the forthcoming "Iron Man 4" film. The movie about the genius, billionaire, playboy, and philanthropist superhero was indeed, anticipated by many, but since there's no official update about it, Downey's revelation surprised everyone.

"I know there's gonna be a bunch more Marvel movies, and they have big ideas of how to do it best, and you know, we're in the middle of a negotiation... so yes," Downey stated as he answered the questions about the upcoming "Iron Man 4."

Despite the lovely confirmation, Downey failed to talk whether he will still have the role. This is in regards to the rumors that Tony Stark, a.k.a. Iron Man, will be replaced by a young girl named Riri Williams. According to several reports, Riri will impress the eccentric superhero after altering one of his past armors. Because of this, Iron Man will lend his status to the student but instead of carrying Iron Man's name, she will be called "Ironheart."

Meanwhile, reports also claim that Downey will return to his role in the movie's third sequel, "Sherlock Holmes." Movie Web even reported that instead of him, a 13-year-old actor named Ty Simpkins will play Iron Man instead. However, Marvel nor Downey has given information about it.
