'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' Details: Many Villains Want These Heroes Dead; Effort for Movie Goes Full Blast with Sean Gunn's Acting
"Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" is already looking quite powerful in terms of a following, but cinematically, the heroes have other problems. It seems as if despite being the ones responsible for the salvation of many galactic inhabitants, enemies are still inevitable for these Marvel heroes.
According to Screen Rant, the protagonists of "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" certainly have crosshairs on their backs in the second installment, now being the Ravagers and the Sovereigns. Descriptively, the Sovereigns are a species of naturally gifted entities with ample terrorizing technology, whereas the Ravagers are a mix of various species that rely on their brutality and numbers; although they may not entirely be great methodologists.
Fans can recall that Michael Rooker's Yondu during the first film led the rest of the Ravagers while hunting down Peter Quill, otherwise known as Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), which will now be a hunt for the entire team of the Guardians.
After being tricked towards the end of the first film, Yondu may now be joining forces with the Guardians, but it is believed that the other Ravagers may not follow in his footsteps. Foes-turned-allies in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" does not only apply for Yondu, but also for Nebula, played by Karen Gillan, who in this case has shifted sides to join Gamora (Zoe Saldana) and the rest of the team. One way or another, these odd heroes have more to worry about in the sequel.
In other related "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" news, it was said that director James Gunn's brother, Sean Gunn, was given more ample recognition for his skills recently. Many may not know that despite being voice by Bradley Cooper, the physical marking or placement of Rocket Raccoon is only one part of Sean's job, filling in for the character during shoots.
The same can be said for what he does to Ego the Living Planet (Kurt Russell) and even Mantis (Pom Klementieff). The actor's ability to even walk on all four legs is something that Sean is gifted with talent-wise, and that is only one of his many personal skills.
"Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" is scheduled to release on May 5, 2017. Keep it locked for more news and updates.
