LuAnn De Lesseps's Ex-Husband Tom D'Agostino, Jr., Under Investigation Following Palm Beach Incident
LuAnn de Lesseps' ex-husband, Tom D'Agostino, is reportedly under investigation following a weekend incident in Palm Beach, Florida.
According to a new report, D’Agostino was reportedly involved in a confrontation at a Palm Beach restaurant after he allegedly ran into an old rival.
On Feb. 16, Page Six said that D’Agostino and his new girlfriend were visiting Cucina Dell’Arte last weekend when things between him and the unnamed businessman "went awry." As for what happened between them, it was reportedly D'Agostino's girlfriend who was caught in the middle of their messy encounter.
Insiders revealed that when the mystery man began to approach D'Agostino's girllfriend, D'Agostino cut him off and shortly thereafter, both men began throwing their drinks at one another before D'Agostino left the venue.
Although no arrests were made at the time of the incident, a police officer from Palm Beach confirmed to Page Six than an investigation was underway.
According to the report, the Real Housewives of New York City star was arrested just over one mile away from where the incident involving D'Agostino and his former businesss rival took place. As fans have surely heard, De Lesseps was taken into custody at Colony Hotel on Christmas Eve after being accused of getting physical with a police officer.
Reports after the incident suggested that De Lesseps had allegedly pushed a cop who tried to make her vacate a hotel room that wasn't booked in her name.
De Lesseps and D'Agostino were married for just seven months before calling it quits last August.
After her arrest, De Lesseps entered rehab to address substance abuse issues.
“After the events of last Saturday night in Palm Beach, I am truly embarrassed,” she said in a statement to People magazine. “I have decided to seek professional guidance and will be voluntarily checking in to an alcohol treatment center. I intend to turn this unfortunate incident into a positive life changing event. Once again, I sincerely apologize for my actions. I have the greatest respect for police officers and the job they do."
LuAnn de Lesseps and her co-stars, including Bethenny Frankel, Tinsley Mortimer, Carole Radziwill, Dorinda Medley, Ramona Singer, and Sonja Morgan, are reportedly in production on the 10th season of The Real Housewives of New York City.
