A Lot Of Selena Gomez’s Friends Don’t Like Justin Bieber
Bieber and Gomez rekindled their romance last fall shortly after Gomez split up with The Weeknd and Jelena shippers couldn't be happier.
However, earlier this month there were reports claiming that the popular couple was taking some time off their relationship. Now, there are rumors that Gomez's friends still do not approve of the "What Do You Mean?" hitmaker.
Gomez's BFFs Don't Like Bieber
A source revealed to Entertainment Tonight that Gomez's close friends are not the biggest fans of Bieber.
"There's a big crew of people [in Selena's circle] who really don't like Justin and they especially don't like him with Selena," the source told the publication. "A lot of her friends really don't like him. They think he's bad news for Selena and don't approve of the relationship."
Gomez's friends who do not approve of Bieber are people from the industry who have witnessed first-hand that he brings out her worst side. They believe the 24-year-old is a bad influence and she starts becoming very dependent on him.
The source pointed out that the "Wolves" singer is incredibly generous, loyal, and gives her 100 percent to everything that she does, including her relationships, which is not healthy for her.
The insider also noted that Bieber has tried to win the approval of Gomez's family and friends but some of them just aren't having any of it. They are there to support Gomez come what may but do not feel the need to welcome him back. This is the reason why Gomez keeps her friends and Bieber away from each other because they have not yet given him the stamp of approval.
Gomez And Bieber Are On A Break
Days after Gomez proclaimed her love for Bieber and made their relationship Instagram official, reports started circulating that the couple is taking a break.
A source told E! News that after vacationing together in Jamaica, Gomez and Bieber "were having a lot of little disagreements recently and one fight in particular blew up and caused them to decide to 'break up.'"
However, the pair is still very much in touch with each other and their feelings for each other haven't changed so it isn't over for Jelena just yet. The source noted that the couple was only taking some time away from each other and are expected to get back together.
