Tamar Braxton Admits She Bought Thousands Of Blonde Wigs To Fulfill Vincent Herbert's Fetish
Tamar Braxton has opened up about her new look and admitted that she used to splurge on blonde wigs to please her now estranged husband, Vincent Herbert. The singer filed for divorce from Herbert last October.

In the latest update on their back-and-forth, Braxton spoke out about her shocking move in which she shaved her head. When she debuted her new look on Instagram, she suggested that she was finally free from wearing wigs and weaves. Now, she reveals that she purchased the extensions to appease Herbert’s fetish of blonde hair.
Braxton sat down with Steve Harvey and other celebrity women like Keri Hilson and opened up about love and life. She said she agreed with the notion of switching up looks to keep one's partner attracted.
“I used to have all blond wigs. I still have 150,000 of them at my house because I done shaved my head off,” said Braxton.
She then informed the audience and viewers that she was selling the wigs because she had no use for them any longer.
“Vince [Herbert] likes blonde head, light, fair-skin women,” continued Braxton. “I just wasn’t born with no blond hair. But for me, I think that’s just a responsibility women have…it’s to stay current for your man.”
Braxton’s decision to sell her wigs after purchasing them to please Herbert serves as a major indication on the status of their marriage. This isn’t the first time Braxton has been open about her split with Herbert. While she stated in a separate interview that they were working on their marriage, she reiterated that she filed for divorce because she didn’t know what else to do.
She said that they have at least been able to work together as parents for their four-year-old son, Logan, after going through lots of public drama.
“I think the bigger picture of everything is that we have a responsibility to my amazing 4-year-old son, to raise him in the most comfortable, amazing, loving, secure household that we can.”
Interestingly enough, Braxton let fans know that that’s the main reason they are currently living apart.
Braxton filed for divorce from Herbert in October 2017. Just weeks before, she announced that she was retiring from releasing new music so she and Herbert could work on their marriage.
