Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures have released a new trailer for the highly anticipated film, Ocean's 8.

The Latest Preview

At the beginning of the trailer, viewers see James Corden's character talking to Daphne Kluger (Anne Hathaway) and sharing information regarding Debbie Ocean (Sandra Bullock). He casually mentions her brother and the main protagonist of the Ocean's Eleven franchise, Danny (George Clooney).

The intro scene marks the first time that viewers see both characters interact with each other, as in the previous trailers Corden only talked with Ocean and Daphne Kluger barely had any dialogue in the first teaser trailers.

The trailer flashes back to Debbie talking to her assistant, Lou (Cate Blanchett), as they plan the ultimate heist to rob something at New York City's Metropolitan Museum of Art. In other teasers, fans only saw the duo scheme at a restaurant, and the two did not travel to the museum.

As Linda Ronstadt's "You're No Good" begins to play, the audience meets the remaining members of Debbie and Lou's crew. Ocean promises them that they are targeting the museum's iconic Met Ball and adds that they will each receive $16.5 million for their services once the heist is complete.

However, it will not be an easy task as Lou says they will be dealing with the Metropolitan Museum of Art's tight security. The enormous challenge of taking down the museum's technological protections goes to Nine Ball (Rihanna), who is given an increase of screen time in the latest trailer. Fans will be impressed with Nine Ball's presence with the teaser scenes.

When Amita (Mindy Kaling) innocently asks her how long she has planned this mission, Ocean reveals that she developed the heist throughout her five-year prison sentence. While fans only got to see Ocean's parole hearing in previous incarnations, the updated trailer briefly showcases the prison as a psychological nightmare for the film's main character.

The Sandra Update

While Ocean's 8 is scheduled to debut in theatres on June 8, the Oscar-winning actress has been busy. Last month, Bullock's representative had to fend off rumors that the Gravity actress and her longtime boyfriend, photographer Bryan Randall, were not married. The duo met when Bullock hired Randall to take photos of her adopted son, Louis. After Randall completed the assignment, the pair began hanging out, which led them to romance. In fact, the couple's friends have stated that the two of them do not need the altar because they seem to be married.

The Damon Factor

Over the past few months, an online petition has targeted Matt Damon to be removed from the final cut of Ocean's 8. The request was created following his controversial remarks regarding disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein and fallen comedian Louis C.K. Damon eventually apologized for his remarks during a visit to the Today show. It is expected that he would be reprising his role of Ocean's Eleven's Linus Caldwell in the film.

'Ocean's 8' First Teaser

On December 19, 2017, Warner Bros. Pictures dropped the film's teaser trailer. It not only introduced the newest Ocean to fans but also presented her sidekicks played by Rihanna, Helena Bonham Carter, Awkwafina, and Sarah Paulson. In addition to the cast, several celebrities are expected to make cameos in the film, including Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Zayn Malik, Zac Posen, and Anna Wintour.
