What Happened to Mitchell Robinson's Father? Knicks Star Reveals Tragic Update About Patriarch
Mitchell Robinson asked his social media followers to help him find his missing father.
Robinson used all his networks as he and his family continue to search for the missing patriarch. He first revealed the news on Monday, sharing a Facebook post from the Escambia County Sheriff's Office.
The post in question said that Mitchell Robinson Jr. had been missing since February 11. The patriarch was reportedly last seen on the 7900 block of Atilla Avenue. Unfortunately, the family and the authorities cannot provide details about his clothing.
Still, the department asked those who have potential leads to contact the ECSO as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, Robinson asked for further help by posting a video of himself driving at night, with the text, "Don't know a place the devil will hide you...... Come home pops."
Following the release of the update, Robinson's colleagues and fans started spreading the poster and asked everyone to help the family.
Julito Mccullum said, "Prayers up for Mitchell Robinson & his family. Hoping they find his father soon. #NewYorkForever."
"Good Morning prayers up for Mitchell Robinson this morning," another wrote.
Mitchell Robinson Dealt Other Issues
Before his father went missing, Robinson faced another issue involving Knicks owner, James Dolan.
On Twitter, The Athletic's senior writer Lane Richardson revealed that sources told him and Ballsack Sports that Robinson got into a physical altercation with Dolan.
"Knicks' Mitchell Robinson got into a physical altercation with Knicks owner James Dolan Saturday, sources tell @BallsackSports @TheAthletic. The conflict started when Dolan told Robinson that he would be sent to the G-League if his play didn't improve," he said.
The post, however, received criticism from Robinson's fans especially since it broke while the athlete is searching for his father. They also insisted that the incident was impossible since Robinson had been staying in Louisiana and posting all day on his Instagram account.
In another similar news, Robinson made his fans worried when he tweeted about his injury following Los Angeles Clippers and New York Knicks' game. The starting center reportedly suffered an ankle injury following his team's victory.
Robinson quickly took away fans' worries and assured them that it was just "a little tweak."
The game's result pushed Knicks in 23-24 on the season in 47 games. At that time, they had already become the 11th seed in the Eastern Conference. Last year, they ranked fourth when they went 41-31.
