Queen Elizabeth Shows Massive Sign of Improving Health Ahead of Platinum Jubilee
Queen Elizabeth II looked beaming during her first-ever Platinum Jubilee event.
After being away from the spotlight, Queen Elizabeth II became the main focus again when she attended her first Platinum Jubilee event on Sunday: the Windsor Horse Show's televised event, "A Gallop Through History."
Her latest appearance took royal fans' worries away as her attendance was a good sign that she would be on the balcony next month to mark her 70-year reign.
In an interview with GB News (via Express UK), royal commentator Rafe Heydel-Mankoo said that Queen Elizabeth II became a relief to everyone who has been worrying about her health.
"There would have been a collective sigh of relief across much of the country as we saw our Queen yesterday, in the fine form actually, as she attended quite an extravaganza at the Royal Windsor horse show to celebrate her Platinum Jubilee. She was in her element there, because she loves horses," he said.
The royal commentator noted that the Queen loved the event so much, and photos of her looking happy and well have since gone viral.
Queen Elizabeth II Is NOT Sick - She's Old
Following Heydel-Mankoo's statement, GB News host Mercy Muroki said that Queen Elizabeth II's public outing reaffirm people's thoughts that she is rather old than ill.
"She's doing an incredible job, still working, still out and about, she's obviously not in a wheelchair, which there was some speculation that she might [be]," Muroki said, adding, "This almost lifts the mood of the nation and helps us prepare for the celebrations we are going to have in a few weeks time."
Heydel-Mankoo agreed with her sentiment and asked the viewers to remember that the monarch is already 96 years old. Although she looks frailer than ever, it only looks like that since people have not seen her for a while.
The Queen, despite her mobility issues, shows that she can still walk since her health remains okay.
With that, the royal commentator saw it as a good sign that people may see her on the balcony to attend her Service of Thanksgiving at St. Paul's Cathedral.
Queen Elizabeth II also drove herself from Windsor Castle to the event place. Prince Edward accompanied her and allowed the Queen walked herself with her walking stick.
Other events for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebration include a live concert called Platinum Party at the Palace, the Platinum Jubilee Pageant, and the Big Jubilee Lunch, to name a few.
