Johnny Depp Under Fire For Doing THIS to Amber Heard's Witness
Johnny Depp has been bombarded with a new accusation involving one of Amber Heard's witnesses.
Following the defamation trial, eagle-eyed fans of Heard noticed that Depp might have been misgendered one of the actress's witnesses, iO Tillett Wright.
On Twitter, it was highlighted that the "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor made a mistake after Wright, whose real name is Melissa Viviane Jefferson, released his most recent album, "Special."
Depp was condemned for misgendering Wright "without" repercussions.
One said, "Funny how Lizzo used a slur in a song and had to remove it instantly for risk of being canceled, and yet Johnny can get away with constantly misgendering iO and calling him a lesbian slur in a text message."
However, Depp's supporters also uploaded a video of Heard doing the same to Wright.
Wright recently addressed the misunderstandings about his pronouns, saying that he does not like the use "they/them."
The singer testified through a pre-recorded testimony during the defamation trial and said that he called 911 after overhearing the actor get violent. He added that he called Heard's next-door friend Raquel Pennington and 911 in New York, although the estranged couple was in Los Angeles.
Amber Heard Cyberbullied?
The internet's wrath due to the misgendering issue came after Bot Sentinel released a report saying that the actress suffered one of the worst cases of cyberbullying.
"Exclusive: Our latest report illustrates how Amber Heard and her supporters were subjected to rampant abuse and targeted harassment. Twitter essentially left the women to fend for themselves with little to no support from the platform," the site's owner, Christopher Bouzy, said.
It revealed that the company identified around 627 accounts that merely focused on tweeting negative posts about Heard and her supporters - particularly the female fans.
Meanwhile, the hashtags #AmberHeardIsAnAbuser, #AmberHeardLsAnAbuser, #AmberHeardIsALiar, and #AmberHeardLsALiar were spammed by 3,288 accounts.
Meanwhile, Zachary Levine also made people raise their brows due to his statement during his appearance on the "Joe Rogan Experience" podcast. He said that t was not necessary for everybody to see the legal battle between Heard and Depp.
The "On the Line" actor said the legal battle should have been recorded but not telecasted worldwide. Thus, they ended up comparing it with other cases like OJ Simpson's trial.
In related news, Heard officially filed an appeal to the court in pursuit of reclaiming the win from Depp.
