Olivia Newton-John's husband reveals her "final" wish before she passed away due to cancer.
The Grease star peacefully died in Southern California at the age of 73 in which broke the hearts of the people including her family, friends, and even fans.
And just days after the death of the actress, her husband John Easterling shares the "final" wish of her wife.
In the heartbreaking post, it reads: "Olivia has been a symbol of triumphs and hope for over 30 years sharing her journey with breast cancer..."
As the post continues, Easterling elaborates her healing inspiration and pioneering experience with plant medicine continues with the Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund, dedicated to researching plant medicine and cancer.
Back in 1992, Newton-John found out that she has cancer which begins the "breast cancer" advocacy of the singer as she combats her illness. She then underwent a partial mastectomy and reconstruction after first battling her cancer.
Newton-John remained cancer-free until it happened again in 2013, then in September 2018 it was revealed that she had been diagnosed with cancer for the third time in 30 years.
The singer said she was treating the illness 'naturally' and was using cannabis oil made from marijuana which her husband grows in California which used to alleviate the pain that she's been feeling because of her cancer.
In memory of the late Newton-John, the foundation which is named after her continues to do its research to find answers that will treat and end cancer. In relation to that, Easterling is requesting everyone to just donate to the foundation instead of sending flowers so the research about cancer will continue in memory of the late singer-actress.
Meanwhile people are paying their tribute to the late Newton-John sharing their experience and memories with the singer-actress including John Travolta, saying that she made the life of the people around her so much better and that her impact was incredible.
Kylie Minogue also said that she's been looking up to Newton-John since she was 10 years old adding that she will always be an inspiration to her in many ways.
More so, Delta Goodrem describes how kind and strong Newton-John was as a person and as a mentor and that she will be forever loved.
