"Don't Worry Darling" Team Has Been Causing Buzzes
Before Styles and Kroll's public smooch, the flick's team has been subject to multiple buzz and issues in the past months.
Styles and Wilde have been sparking relationship rumors while the director deals with rumors about her rift with Florence Pugh. The rumors intensified when reports about the two stars keeping their distance emerged.
Pugh did not attend the "Don't worry Darling" press conference. Meanwhile, Styles, Wilde, Gemma Chan, and Chris Pine filled the gap with their presence.
During the conversation, the reporters asked Wilde about the rumored tension but instead of responding directly, she praised the actress and called her "a force." She, however, said that she did not plan to add more fuel to the endless tabloid gossip.

"The internet feeds itself. I don't need to contribute, I think it's significantly well-nourished. Florence is a force and we are so grateful that she is able to make it tonight," Wilde said, per Associated Press. "I know as a director how disruptive it is to lose an actor even for a day."
Wilde also highlighted Pugh's "singularly brilliant" role and her character's tendency to become the "heroine for the ages."
The director also dealt with Shia LaBeouf's exit from the film. In her Variety cover story, Wilde said that the actor has his own process which was not conducive to the ethos she wanted her project to have.
