Kanye West To Buy Own Social Media Platform 'Parler' After Instagram and Twitter Ban
Rapper Kanye West is getting his own social media platform after his controversial social media restrictions.
Since the "Yeezy" founder's fashion scandal involving the "White Lives Matter" statement in bold on his collection, Kanye West has been the subject of numerous controversial headlines as of late. His recent fashion statement sparked outrage among his audience, resulting in the rapper starting a feud with some of his critics online.
Kanye West Is Set To Buy 'Parler'
Following the social media controversy, the "Flashing Lights" rapper has reportedly agreed in principle to buy his own social media platform, specifically, the global free speech app "Parler".
According to "Parler"'s parent company, their statement reveals that rapper Kanye West has made "a groundbreaking move into the free speech media space and will never have to fear being removed from social media again."
While it is not known how Kanye sets out to use the application once he acquires ownership, the 45-year-old rapper elaborated on his vision of free speech amidst recent controversy on his views.
"In a world where conservative opinions are considered to be controversial, we have to make sure we have the right to freely express ourselves," said West.
As of now, no financial details have been revealed regarding the deal, but "Parler" has reportedly raised a total of $56 million in funding from outside investors.

Why Did Kanye Get Kicked Off Social Media?
Setting out to buy "Parler" comes after Kanye West was restricted from posting on Instagram and Twitter after making anti-semitic remarks.
In a now-deleted Instagram post, Ye posted a controversial theory that rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs was being controlled by Jewish people. He also targeted comedian Trevor Noah for critiquing his "White Lives Matter" agenda and proceeded to call him numerous racial slurs. This resulted in him getting restricted from posting on the Meta platform.
Shortly after migrating to Twitter, Ye's account was restricted after he said that he would go "death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE." His ranting spree turned into a content moderation controversy which got him restricted from posting and some of his posts getting deleted for repeatedly violating policies
Currently, West's Instagram and Twitter accounts are still visible, but it is unknown for how long his temporary posting ban will last.
