Morgan Wallen's outburst in Nashville was due to his ex, who eloped, according to a report.

The "Wasted on You" singer was arrested Sunday evening after allegedly flinging a chair from a rooftop bar. Morgan, 30, was charged with three counts of reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct. He was released on Monday after paying the $,250 bond.

An unnamed insider spoke with the Daily Mail about the issue and claimed that his behavior that night had something to do with his ex-fiancée and baby mama KT Smith's marriage. According to the insider, the singer was upset after learning that Smith eloped with Luke Scornavacco on April 3 with their 3-year-old son Indigo, just five days after the couple announced their engagement.

"KT's marriage to Luke last week just crushed him," the source told the Daily Mail. "Of course, he knew they were engaged and eventually going to get married -- but eloping just days after they got engaged?"

The tipster claimed the singer wasn't over Smith yet, and her marriage hit him hard. The source also claimed that Smith was the "Thought You Should Know" singer's TOTGA (the one that got away).

"Morgan has never gotten over her even though he couldn't stay faithful to her. And now another man is going to be raising his son," the source added. "Whatever happened at that bar had to be reality hitting him in the face over losing the love of his life."

Smith responded to the report associating her with Wallen's recent behavior. She denied that his outburst had anything to do with her.

"Although it may seem like it correlates because of the timeline," she told The Daily Beast, "I have no evidence to believe the incident had anything to do with the recent marriage announcement."

"I cannot speak on Morgan's behalf, but I do pray the very best for him. Praying that this was just a slip-up and that he will return to the good path that he was on prior."

Wallen and Smith dated for nearly three years, from December 2016 to November 2019. They got engaged just months after dating and broke it off but remained in a relationship for two more years. They welcomed their son in 2020.
