'Surviving R. Kelly' Producers To Release Nicole Brown Simpson Documentary For 30th Death Anniversary — Watch The Trailer
Lifetime, in partnership with the creators of 'Surviving R. Kelly' (2019-2023), announced a new documentary focused on the life of Nicole Brown Simpson.
The project will coincide with the 30th anniversary of her death.
The announcement came shortly after O.J. Simpson — who was found not guilty of Brown and Ron Goldman's death — died of prostate cancer on April 10.
Nicole Brown Simpson, the second wife of the San Francisco 49ers player, was killed outside her Brentwood residence in 1994. Despite O.J. Simpson's subsequent trial and acquittal for her murder, he was later found responsible for both deaths in a 1997 civil trial.
Although the timing of the documentary's announcement may prompt speculation, Lifetime clarifies that the project has been in progress for more than a year. The objective is to provide a platform for Nicole Brown Simpson's untold story.
Titled, "The Life and Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson," the documentary will delve into her life and death with insights from 50 individuals intimately linked to her. It is set to reveal shocking revelations from her sisters and close friends breaking their silence for the first time.
