Ben Affleck Hides His Ring Finger From Paparazzi Amid Jennifer Lopez Divorce Rumors
Ben Affleck devised a clever move to toy with the paparazzi targetting to take a photo of his ring finger.
On Wednesday, the "Gone Girl" actor was spotted out and about in Los Angeles. As he was walking side-by-side with his son Samuel, whom he had picked up from school, he covered his left arm with a blue cardigan to hide his hand from the paps.
He seemingly knew that the photographers were aiming to take a photo of his ring finger amid the divorce rumors surrounding him and Jennifer Lopez.
His son with ex-wife Jennifer Garner also seemed to poke fun at the photographers because he, too, had a camera.
At one point in a video obtained by TMZ, he pretended to be a pap, making his dad and the paparazzi laugh.
The father-and-son duo then got into their BMW. Samuel even waved goodbye to the paparazzi.
Ben's move to hide his ring finger comes after he was seen without his wedding band last weekend, fueling the divorce rumors even more.
In photos obtained by TMZ at the time, the 51-year-old actor's ring finger was photographed with his wedding ring nowhere to be seen when he moved the sun visor in his car.
Per the outlet, this was the first time the actor was seen without his marital bling since the rumors about his and J.Lo's marital strife surfaced online.
In related news, Ben's present wife has been reportedly confiding with his ex amid reports of their shaky marriage.
"J.Lo has been confiding in Jen because she knows that she is one of the only few people in the world who would understand what she is going through," claimed an insider.
"She has been through it with the same man herself, and although the circumstances were quite different, it is still the same man, and they both dealt with some of the same issues."
Meanwhile, the "This Is Me... Now" artist recently shut down a reporter at Netflix's junket for "Atlas" when he asked about the divorce rumors.
When the reporter asked her if it was true that she was divorcing Affleck, she responded, "You know better than that."
