A huge My Chemical Romance fan got the MCR-inspired wedding of her dreams.

Vanessa, also known as vampynessa on TikTok, took to the social media platform to share the details about her wedding that took place in the same church her favorite band filmed their "Helena" music video -- the Immanuel Presbyterian Church on Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles, California.

In an interview with People, she detailed how an Emo Nite karaoke event led her to her groom, Jordan, and her dream MCR-inspired wedding.

Before their fateful meeting, Vanessa met Jordan's friends first on a night out. Recalling the encounter in a TikTok video, she said people told her she "literally manifested him."

"I remember that night clearly. I was super drunk and [I] went up to his friends and asked them if they knew any chubby white boys with a beard that liked Latinas, and they basically said, 'Oh yeah, we have one. His name is Jordan.'"

"The following week, they introduced us and now we are here," she added.

"That night, it was all me talking and him sitting there with his drink, not saying much. I thought, 'This guy doesn't like me,' but his friends said, 'No, he's just very nervous. He said you were cute,'" she told the outlet, recalling their meeting at Emo Nite.

While Jordan appeared to be shy during their first meeting, he still managed to get Vanessa's number before they left the event. After the exchange of contact details, they started to get to know each other better.

The event and their shared taste in emo music led to a first date at a Korean barbecue restaurant and the rest, as they say, was history.

Talking about how they planned her dream wedding, the "Emo auntie" said, "When we first started talking about the wedding, I joked, 'What if we get married in the 'Helena' music video church? I'm a big My Chemical Romance fan and we had gone to an event they always have there called 'Ghouls Day Out.'"

She said the iconic church was where she "wanted to have either [her] wedding or funeral."

To make the church look like the one from MCR's 2005 music video for their big day, Vanessa DIY-ed some decor -- similar pamphlets showing a photo of her and her groom styled like the album cover of "Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge" and a lovers table showing photos of their great-grandparents, grandparents and parents on their wedding days.

They also set up the church on their own with the help of their family and friends.

"It was crazy. We woke up and it was pouring rain, just like on our first date. We got to the church to set up and put down our flowers and we had some friends help. Slowly, it started to come to life like in the music video. I started to cry because it was too perfect. I couldn't believe it was happening, that the day was here," recalled Vanessa.

"The church itself was beautiful but as I saw my photographer's photos, I couldn't believe it. The vibe is so dark and beautiful, I can't explain it."

"It's been a little bit crazy. I had one person say, 'Oh she's living the generation's dream.' And it was really special to me, as a big My Chemical Romance fan, with a husband who was on board and loved it as well," she added.

Vanessa and Jordan's "Helena"-inspired wedding took place in February and was immortalized in photos by fine art and dark portraiture photographer Slevin Mors.

"This will forever be one of my favorite weddings to have photographed. I wish the beautiful couple a long and wonderful life together," wrote Mors on his website.

Meanwhile, Mr. and Mrs. Wainer recently went back to the church they tied the knot in and announced that they are expecting their rainbow baby.
