Prince Louis’ Mischievous Side Reminiscent Of Young Prince Harry, Royal Expert Says
Prince Louis has some resemblance to his uncle, Prince Harry, according to a royal expert.
Jennie Bond, a royal commentator and former royal correspondent at the BCC, joined The Sun's royal editor, Matt Wilkinson, for the latest episode of the "Royal Exclusive" podcast. The duo talked about the upcoming Trooping the Colour, the annual event on Saturday to mark the Sovereign's official birthday.
The host mentioned the royal children's appearance on the balcony and Prince Louis' being "unpredictable," unlike his older siblings, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. Prince William and Kate Middleton's youngest child was seen making faces and covering his ears while watching the flypast. Wilkinson said he looked "entertaining" but wasn't there to entertain the people. However, photographers and TV crew will certainly be looking forward to his playful antics because he's fun to watch.
"I think we, the media, have made him a little bit the star of the show, but he plays up to the cameras, or maybe he doesn't play to the cameras. Maybe he just doesn't play to the cameras, whereas, you know, everyone else is very well-behaved and proper. He's just a kid, you know, and he has a naughty side," Bond said.
"He reminds me of Harry actually when Harry was young and Harry would quite deliberately stick his tongue out at the photographers, and Diana would say, 'Stop it, stop it,' you know. And I think Louis has that mischievous side at the age he is. So, yeah, I think we're all a little bit charmed by him."
When asked if Prince Harry could return to joining the royal family on the balcony with his wife, Meghan Markle, Bond gave a negative response. However, she admitted missing Prince Harry.
"I can't see Harry returning to that," Bond said. "Yes, I do miss him. I mean, Harry was, he was the most popular royal, wasn't he a couple of few years ago?"

It wasn't the first time Prince Louis was compared to his uncle due to their cheeky behavior. Body language and behavioral expert Darren Stanton said that both were "mischievous" and "rebellious." He even warned the Prince and Princess of Wales that their youngest son was the "one to watch."
"Prince George and Louis very much take on a similar dynamic to which Prince William and Harry had growing up," Stanton said in 2023. "George is very much the older brother, always looking out for Louis and Charlotte -- I think he tries to emulate his dad, and it's already clear that he's going to be the serious one out of the two brothers."
He continued, "Prince Louis, as we saw on the balcony, trying to play the piano -- he's undoubtedly the more creative one, the more mischievous one, the more rebellious one and the one to think outside of the box, not too dissimilar to Harry. Louis is certainly going to be one to watch."
