Prince Harry Is Getting 'Angrier And More Frustrated' As King Charles, William Continue To Ignore His Reconciliation Efforts: Royal Expert
Prince Harry is getting frustrated as his attempts to reconcile with his father, King Charles, and brother, Prince William, haven't been fruitful, according to a royal expert.
The Duke of Sussex is reportedly not on speaking terms with his family. He has been reaching out to them, but the King and heir apparent are not cooperative since they are laser-focused on their priorities.
"The King and the Princess of Wales' cancer battles have made it easier for both King Charles III and Prince William to put Harry out of their minds," Christopher Andersen, a royal author and commentator, told Fox News. "They are both shunning him now because they can't afford not to -- they simply can't handle the distraction."
The author of "The King" claims that the falling out from "Spare" has been eclipsed by the King and Kate Middleton's cancer battle, so His Majesty and the heir apparent are too occupied to mind Prince Harry. Andersen believes Prince Harry is already getting the consequences of his actions after he attacked the royals because "his entire family has turned its back on him."
"Harry has tried again and again to make amends with his father, but to no avail," Andersen continued. "The King and William have really dug in, and the more Harry is rebuffed, the angrier and more frustrated he gets. He must be thinking, 'Why should I keep quiet if my father and brother are stonewalling me?'"
Andersen speculated that it would be inevitable for the Duke of Sussex to release "another searingly honest book." However, Meghan Markle's husband also allegedly knows it's not the right time to talk about his family since the world is praying for King Charles and his sister-in-law's full recovery from cancer.
"Harry surely would not want to be seen kicking them when they're down," Andersen added.
British broadcaster and photographer Helena Chard was convinced that the Prince of Wales was only being protective of his wife and would not allow anything to get in the way of Middleton's healing, including welcoming a "chaotic" Prince Harry at their home.
"Prince Harry has created much hurt and upset for the Prince and Princess of Wales and his family. He has many fences to build before he can expect his family to welcome him with open arms," Chard said. "Fingers crossed he will get on with building these bridges in private, as I'm sure he misses his family."
"The Princess of Wales is diplomatic and is the peacekeeper within the family but is not well enough to navigate a meeting with Prince Harry at this point."
