Kate Middleton's Trooping The Color Outfit, Jewels Hold Deep Royal Significance Amid Cancer Battle, Experts Reveal
Kate Middleton made a major fashion statement as she made her first official appearance in six months at Trooping the Colour over the weekend.
All eyes were on the Princess of Wales and her look at King Charles III's official birthday parade in London on Saturday as she returned to public duties for the first time since announcing in March that she was diagnosed with an unspecified form of cancer and was undergoing chemotherapy.
Experts and pundits have noted the deep royal significance behind the white outfit and jewels Middleton chose for her return to the public eye.

While discussing Middleton's look, GB News host Ellie Costello praised Middleton's appearance at Trooping the Colour as "extraordinary" and highlighted her choice to wear white.
Royal expert Andrew Pierce told the host that Middleton's decision to don white was in line with the late Queen Elizabeth II's "maxim" for the royal family.
"[Princess Kate] was wearing white to make sure she's seen. And that was the Queen's maxim, wasn't it? Visibility," Pierce said.
"The royal family is about visibility as we see, and how wonderful it is to see the family together," he added.
Princess Kate looked stunning in a white Jenny Packham dress with black trim and ribbon embellishment on the neckline.
She paired the dress with a white hat by Philip Treacy and matching Jimmy Choo heels, and her hair was swept into an elegant updo.
Middleton completed the look with the Irish Guards Regimental Brooch and yellow gold, pearl, and diamond earrings identified by People as her Cassandra Goad Cavolfiore Pearl Studs.
Jewelry expert Tobias Kormind also discussed the potential meaning behind Middleton's decision to re-wear her $7,000 Cassandra Goad earrings for the occasion.
"She notably donned pearl earrings," the managing director of 77 Diamonds, Europe's largest online diamond jeweler, told GB News. "Pearls are a symbol of purity and wisdom, and the round shape of pearls is sometimes said to be linked to the moon, which is believed to have a feminine energy associated with nurturing and motherhood."
"Style-wise, what's so enduringly appealing about pearls is the gentle light they throw on the face," Kormind added. "It makes them such an attractive choice and so easy to wear, especially on those occasions when you need to look impeccable, which Kate does brilliantly."
Middleton previously wore the yellow gold, pearl, and diamond earrings to the 2018 christening of her and Prince William's youngest child Prince Louis as well as Wimbledon in 2023.
Meanwhile, the Irish Guards Regimental Brooch was a nod to Middleton's role as the honorary Colonel of the Irish Guards, who trooped their "color" (or flag) during the parade.
Middleton confirmed that she would be attending this year's Trooping the Colour just a day before the big event.
In a letter, the princess wrote that she was looking forward to joining the rest of the royal family at the parade, and hopes to appear at "a few public engagements over the summer."
However, Middleton said she was "not out of the woods yet" amid her cancer battle.
