Taylor Wily, best known for his role in "Hawaii Five-0," has died.

He was 56.

A news anchor from Hawaii's 'KITV,' who mentioned Wily was a family friend, announced his death on Thursday. His cause of death has not been revealed.

Television producer Peter M. Lenkov announced the news on his official Instagram page, sharing a photo with Wily taken behind the scenes of a TV show and expressing his deep sorrow to his followers.

Lenkov mentioned that he will share more information in the coming days, but at the moment, he is too devastated to talk about the passing of his longtime friend.

Teila Tuli, known by his ring name TW, began his career as a sumo wrestler in the late 1980s. He stood out as one of the few Americans to enter the esteemed Japanese sumo wrestling scene, reportedly achieving a record of 57 wins, 27 losses, and 14 draws over a span of two years.

Wily also ventured into another combat sport, competing in the inaugural UFC 1. Notably, he holds the distinction of being the first fighter to be defeated in a UFC match.

Taylor leaves behind his wife, Halona, and their two children.
