The future king was noticeably enjoying the Grammy-winning artist's show. He was even caught on camera dancing to Swift's hit "Shake It Off." Buckingham Palace's military band performed a rendition of the song during the Changing of the Guard on Friday, ahead of Swift's show at the Wembley Stadium. One fan even wondered if Prince William and Swift would "connect" because it was the Duke of Cambridge's birthday.
Several fans were convinced that Prince William was a Swiftie, and many felt that the feelings were mutual, noting that the "Anti-Hero" singer was "Team Wales" amid Prince William and Kate Middleton's family feud with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Swift even shared a photo of herself posing with Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and her boyfriend, Travis Scott. She also accompanied the post with a message for Prince William, who celebrated his birthday on that day, even calling him "m8."
"Happy Bday M8! London shows are off to a splendid start," Swift wrote along with the U.K. and U.S. flags and handshake emojis.
"The joy in their faces! While the Wales family are Swifties, Taylor is a confirmed Team Wales!" one fan wrote.
Another said, "Taylor has always been Team Wales."
"Yasss Queen. We are swifties; and we are royalists!!! GOD SAVE THE KING," another Swiftie and royal supporter remarked.
Swift and Prince William had a history. The pair had sung together with Jon Bon Jovi at a Centrepoint charity event atKensington Palace in 2013.
Meanwhile, Swift reportedly declined Markle's invitation to appear in her now-defunct podcast "Archetypes," per The Wall Street Journal. The "Cruel Summer" singer didn't personally respond to the Duchess of Sussex and only turned down the offer through her representative.
