Kanye West Allegedly Begs Ex-Wife Kim Kardashian For Financial Help After Net Worth Drop Over Lost Adidas Deal
Kanye West didn't change his spending habits even after losing millions from a terminated deal with Adidas, and now he's facing financial woes, according to a source.
The "Gold Digger" rapper allegedly mismanaged his finances. So, he is now forced to ask for financial help from his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian. The Skims founder and Grammy winner share four children -- North, 10, Saint, 8, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 5.
"Kanye's been burning through his savings at an alarming rate, and it's starting to have a very real impact on his bank balance. He's still got some money coming in, but ever since he lost that deal with Adidas, he's seen many, many zeros drop off his net worth," an anonymous source told In Touch.

In October 2022, Adidas terminated the lucrative deal with the Yeezy founder over his offensive behavior, in particular, his anti-Semitic comments. Just a day after Adidas dropped the deal, West announced he lost $2 billion, but "I'm still alive." However, he reportedly didn't change his spending habits. The tipster added that it came to a point when "he's got no choice but to make cutbacks."
While West's value dropped, the "Kardashians" star's net worth continued to soar. Kardashian has a net worth of $1.7 billion, per Forbes' The World Celebrity Billionaires 2024, while West's has $400 million. According to the source, the reality star has been smart with her money, and her business is growing, so she can spoil their children in ways her ex can't.
"She can charter a private jet or stretch limo service at the snap of a finger. He's still on the hook for custody payments, which is also something he's finding difficult to sustain," the source said.

"So, it's put him in the humiliating position of needing to actually ask Kim to give him a break and help him out. Having to admit to her that things are not as great as he likes to pretend is rock bottom for him, the only thing lower is going broke, so he's had to humble himself and ask her for help."

West and Kardashian split in February 2021. They finalized their divorce and reached a settlement in December 2022, where West was ordered to provide Kardashian $200,000 a month for child support. He was also responsible for 50% of their children's security and educational expenses.
Interestingly, West and his wife, Bianca Censori, were recently caught taking a commercial flight. One TikTok user shared the clip where West could be seen sleeping in a white bathrobe while Censori was looking down on her smartphone.
"Was not expecting to see Kanye when I walked out of the bathroom, to say the least," the netizen wrote in the caption.
