Prince Harry is open about his dislike toward his stepmother, Queen Camilla, and she feels the same about him, according to a source.

The Duke of Sussex made several attacks against his stepmother in his previous interviews and his 2023 memoir, "Spare." However, sources claimed that she also allegedly "dislikes" her stepson.

"Camilla dislikes Harry and doesn't want Charles to get stressed while he's undergoing treatment, so she tries to limit interaction," an insider told Us Weekly.

King Charles is reportedly in a difficult position due to his wife and youngest son's rocky relationship. He was hoping to salvage their bond. However, His Majesty was also reportedly "hugely conflicted because Harry has hurt William and Camilla so much." Another source told the outlet that due to Prince Harry's behavior toward Camilla, his father had a hard time forgiving him.

"Charles harbors a lot of anger towards Harry. He's always been very protective of Camilla," another source added. "It's not easy for him to forgive people who have scorned her."

Camilla hasn't spoken publicly about her feelings toward the Duke of Sussex after all the things he has said against her. In his memoir, Prince Harry called her a "villain," "dangerous" and the "third person" in his parents' marriage. He also alleged that she played the "long game" with a campaign aimed at marriage and "the crown." Prince Harry also admitted that he wasn't really on board with having a stepmom and accused her of leaking stories to the press.

"I had complex feelings about gaining a step-parent who, I believed, had recently sacrificed me on her personal PR altar," Harry wrote in his tell-all book.

Meghan Markle's husband was also concerned that Camilla would take his dad away from them. He felt that their marriage "would take Pa away. Not in any real sense, not in any deliberate or malicious way, but nevertheless -- away. "

All of Prince Harry's statements against her reportedly affected his stepmother. Queen Camilla was livid and hurt.

"When the docuseries came out, Camilla was furious," a second source told Us Weekly. "Then, when 'Spare' [was released], Camilla was saddened by what was said about her. She was heartbroken and confused."

Earlier this year, Prince Harry flew to the U.K. after learning about King Charles' cancer diagnosis. According to British journalist and author Petronella Wyatt, "hostilities flared up" between Camilla and Prince Harry during the visit. He allegedly "launched an unprovoked volley in the direction of a 75-year-old woman" as he "preferred not to be in the same room with his stepmother."

Camilla seemingly got back at him as she and Prince William are reportedly not supportive of King Charles' plan to visit Prince Harry in the United States. However, her concern for the trip is "more for health reasons."

Prince Harry and Camilla's relationship is so complicated that he is seeing his big brother Prince William's close bond with their stepmom as a betrayal, according to Tom Quinn, a royal biographer and commentator.

"He [Harry] really distrusts that William actually gets on rather well now with Camilla -- Harry will see this as a betrayal," Quinn told the Mirror. "He was shocked when William realized that Camilla, far from being the monster they thought her when they were children, is actually a rather nice woman."
