Food critic Keith Lee was not having it when someone poked fun at him and jokingly called him DDG after his viral BET Awards mix-up.

On Tuesday, an Instagram user named Gerald Huston posted a video clip showing Lee walking with his team when a man approached him and started calling him DDG -- YouTuber and rapper Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr. -- and captioned his post, "Omg. I met DDG," with rolling on the floor laughing emoji.

As seen in the video, the patriarch of the "FamiLee" repeatedly said, "Don't do that," while a member of the security restrained him and kept him away from the man.

"I get your content, I watch you all the time," he told the comedian as he walked away.

The video has since gone viral with over 1.9 million views on Huston's page. It also received plenty of comments from his followers and other social media users on the platform, sharing their thoughts about the clip.

"He seemed very disgruntled. Why was he so upset?" commented one user.

"They do look alike. LOL," remarked another.

"So [you're] telling me that wasn't DDG, @iamgeraldhuston?" asked a seemingly confused commenter.

"Oh, that's why he was really pissed with Taraji then. Y'all been playing with him all day," wrote someone else.

The comedian's viral post has since been picked up by The Neighborhood Talk, and the repost generated more reactions from social media users.

"Keith gotta lighten up just a little. They do look alike," commented one person.

"Why [has] he been so snappy lately?" asked another.

Meanwhile, others came to the food critic's defense.

"They tryna tarnish his character, and I don't like it," remarked one user.

"He didn't really have to be restrained... His security was just being extra,"opined someone else.

"He had every right to respond the way he did. That's a random. Y'all gone (sic) learn to leave people alone," wrote a different user.

"He said DDG 50-11 times. It's giving pressed and corny," commented another.

During the BET Awards, Taraji P. Henson accidentally mixed up the food critic with YouTuber Jordan Howlett. As she was handing out roses to the audience, she handed one to Howlett, thinking he was Keith.

Upon realizing the mix-up, Henson immediately apologized to Keith and handed him the rose. However, the 27-year-old influencer was seen throwing it on the ground after that.

"Our name will be known in every room it's supposed to be, when it's supposed to be, how it's supposed [to be], with no confusion. God is amazing. #thankful," he wrote in a now-deleted TikTok post.

Keith shortly followed up his post with another video, clarifying that he was "not upset with Taraji P. Henson by any stretch of the imagination."

Explaining why he dropped the flower Henson handed him, he said, "The reason I did this had nothing to do with Taraji P. Henson. The reason I did this is that I wholeheartedly believe it wasn't my rose. It wasn't my moment. It was given to me, but it wasn't mine."
