Kanye West reportedly texted his closest collaborators about his retirement "from professional music."

On Tuesday, rapper Rich The Kid -- real name Dimitri Leslie Roger -- took to Instagram to share a screenshot of his alleged text exchange with the "Donda" rapper.

In the now-expired Instagram Story, Ye reportedly wrote, "I am retiring from professional music. Not sure what else to do."

Seemingly shocked by Ye's message, Roger responded, "Retire? How? The [people] NEED you. The music you [and] Ty [and] we have made was the BIGGEST STAMP in culture to this date."

Roger then seemingly reminded West of his pending album and music releases, saying, "Drop 'Ye,' ['About Mine'] [and] 'V2' and we do it all over again. The kids need you big bra fasho (sic), maybe some time to chill but retiring ain't it."

Meanwhile, in a tweet, Rich The Kid announced that he has a collaboration with West that is dropping on July 19.

Their collab, "Plain Jane," is the 16th track on RTK's "Life's a Gamble" album.

The Yeezy founder also has an upcoming collaboration with Consequence that will be released this Friday.

In a tweet, @ItsTheCons announced, "'No Apologies' featuring YE. The wait is over. We did what we did to get paid. 07.12.24. Via @192records x Hitmaker."

Talking about the possibility of Ye retiring from the music industry, an insider told TMZ Hip Hop that the rapper "feels that he's being sucked dry putting so much heart, soul, time and energy into the music industry."

With the upcoming song releases amid the spread of Kanye's alleged message to RTK, social media users could not help but share their thoughts.

"Thank you for bringing Ye out of retirement," quipped one user on X.

"Bro retired for 20 minutes," joked another.

"Ye is back. Friday, we [are] out. He loves music too much, man," said a different commenter.

"Ye has officially come out of retirement," remarked someone else.
