Candace Owens Blasts Ben Affleck's Daughter Violet Over Mask Ban Speech At LA County Board Meeting
Candace Owens shared her thoughts on Violet Affleck's viral emotional plea about demanding "mask mandates" and an end to "mask bans."
In the 22nd episode of her "The Candace" podcast, the 35-year-old political commentator addressed the speech of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner's 18-year-old daughter at the LA County Board meeting.
"She won't take the mask off because she's been wearing it for so long. It's become a part of her identity. Right? So she is as much of a mask wearer as I am a Catholic. She is committed to this and so the next thing to show how committed she is to this faith is to go to the government and to make this plea to publicly please more governance," she opined.

"This is what she's saying, even the people [who] are not wearing a mask, they must be enforced. There can be no exceptions, even those three-month-old crying babies on the plane, mask them up. That's what she's asking for. She's saying there can be no exceptions here."
"Like we all must be forced to bow our heads and belief and bend the knee to governance like she is subservient to governance... It's sick. It's an illness and unfortunately for her, she's very young. It genuinely is not her fault and so I wish when people would critique this, they would just critique what she is saying outside of who she is," Owens continued.
She added that Violet "grew up in a cult and she doesn't even know that it's a cult."
Before making her comment on the celebrity daughter's speech, she said that she "genuinely feel[s] bad for her."
"I genuinely feel bad for her because she's being raised by two individuals who have given into the whims of Hollywood obviously because of the decisions that you can see that this household is making," she said.
"But the other thing that I want to say is that when you're 18, you do tend to be dumb. Right? Like, you make decisions and the things that you believe at 18."
In her commentary, the #Blexit movement founder also briefly mentioned Affleck and Garner's other child, Fin.
Before introducing Violet, she said, "You know they have one daughter who is I think non-binary that came out recently and she learned to be non-binary because she was hanging out with JLo's kid or she's trans. I can't remember which one it is."
"But that's going on and now you have this other daughter who seems to identify as her gender. Her name is Violet Affleck. She just turned 18 years old and she's getting a bit of pressed right now because she went down to the LA County Board, and she decided to testify on behalf of mask mandates."
During the public comment section of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors meeting on Tuesday, Violet made her plea regarding the availability of facemasks.
Wearing a facemask, she introduced herself as "Violet Affleck, Los Angeles resident, first-time voter. I'm 18."
She claimed she contracted a post-viral condition in 2019, and she "saw firsthand that medicine does not always have answers to the consequences of even minor viruses."
As she believes "1 in 10 infections leads to long COVID," she demanded "mask availability, air filtration, and UVC light in government facilities."
"It stands to exacerbate our homelessness crisis, as well as the suffering of many people in our city. It hits communities of color, disabled people, elderly people, trans people, women and anyone in a public-facing essential job the hardest," she added.
