Jennifer Lopez 'Pleased' People Are Starting To See Ben Affleck's Real Attitude After Getting Blamed For Rumored Split: Report
Jennifer Lopez is relieved that the public is starting to see Ben Affleck's real attitude amid their rumored divorce, according to a source.
Lopez, 54, has received an intense backlash amid the speculations that her marriage to Affleck, 51, is on the verge of divorce. When their marital woes made headlines, an insider told In Touch that Affleck was "not to blame," and J.Lo reportedly felt it was unfair that she got all the blame.
"Everyone in J.Lo's circle feels it's pretty unfair that she's the one getting all the blame in this," an unnamed source told In Touch in a recent report. "You just have to look at the way Ben's been behaving to see the sort of anger issues he's got. No doubt J.Lo is quite pleased people are starting to get a glimpse of who Ben really is."
Last month, the "Gone Girl" star was caught on camera snapping at paparazzi. Affleck was driving from his and Lopez's marital home when paparazzi flashed at him with their cameras as he passed by. He stopped his car abruptly, got out of it and scolded them.
The tipster claimed that Jennifer Garner's ex-husband had a "miserable side" that Lopez endured. Following their alleged falling-out, the "Let's Get Loud" singer was reportedly "better off without him."
"As charming as Ben can be, he also has a pretty miserable side, which is something Jennifer endured a lot of the time when the cameras were off," the source continued. "She never wanted the marriage to end, but the more she reflects, the more she realizes she was the one doing all the work, constantly trying to lift his moods and make everything perfect for him. Truth be told, she's so much better off without him."
Lopez fueled the divorce rumors when she shared a throwback music video of her breakup song "Cambia el Paso." The track included controversial lyrics, seemingly hinting at one moving on from someone.
"Her life is better now without him ... she doesn't need anyone to be well / She does not fail, she does not fail," part of the lyrics read when translated from Spanish to English.
Another tipster claimed to the Daily Mail that Lopez's mom, Guadalupe Rodriguez, and sisters, Leslie Ann and Lynda, all wanted her to divorce Affleck. Her mother allegedly told her to "cut your losses and move on to avoid getting any deeper in this mess." Meanwhile, her siblings wanted her to "file for divorce first and get on with her life."
