Stacey Dash Fuels Skin Bleaching Accusations With New TikTok Videos: 'She's Growing Into An Old White Lady'
Stacey Dash's new TikTok videos have reignited the skin-bleaching allegations against the actress.
This week, the "Clueless" actress shared two bedtime videos showing her face looking bright and shiny seemingly due to her skincare products and a ring light.
In one video, Dash sported champagne-colored pajamas and appeared to be in her bedroom as she shared that she will celebrate eight years of being sober at the end of this month.
"To the girl who asked if we are crackheads, those of us who don't want to talk to anyone before we've had our coffee in the morning. No, definitely not a crackhead. Eight years clean on the 30th. I just don't want to kill anyone," Dash joked.
In the second clip, the 57-year-old actress flashed a smile at the camera as she showed off her gorgeous curls.
After the videos were reposted by Hollywood Unlocked on Instagram, Dash was quickly hit with a fresh wave of accusations that she used bleaching products to achieve a lighter complexion.
"The bleach is bleaching," one person commented, while another quipped, "Whatever skin lighter she's using on her face, I need it for my thighs."
"She is growing into an old white lady," another comment claimed, while a fourth user noted, "I don't remember her being this beige."
"When did she become lightskin[?] Definitely bleaching," a different Instagram user alleged.
Some pointed out the massive difference between her current skin color and her complexion when she played Dionne Marie Davenport in the 1995 film that catapulted her to fame.
"Where is the melanin we saw in 'Clueless'[?]" one person questioned. "Who is this white woman??"
"I miss the Black Stacey Dash," another user commented.
But other social media users slammed those commenting on Dash's appearance and congratulated the actress for her achievement.
One person commented: "8 years clean is very commendable."
"Y'all weird in these comments talking about how she's aged ... this is a [57-year-old] woman," another pointed out. "Like what y'all want her to look like[?]"
"Y'all be so mean. She seems happy and at peace. God bless her," someone else wrote.
Dash previously shut down the rumors that she bleaches her skin.
"No sun. I don't bleach my skin. I just don't go in the sun," she said in a TikTok video last year as she addressed fans' questions about her lighter complexion.
