Beyoncé can't seem to shake off the accusations that she is bleaching her skin.

On Friday, the 32-time Grammy winner made an appearance during NBCUniversal's coverage of the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony to introduce Team USA.

Beyoncé sported long, platinum blonde hair and was dressed in a white bodysuit with "USA" emblazoned on the chest, a statement kaftan with the Olympic rings on the back, and a cowboy hat and boots.

But while Beyoncé's Team USA introduction, set to a remix of her single "Ya Ya," has since gone viral and received numerous praises online, some social media users were more focused on her appearance -- specifically, her skin color.

A number of users on X, formerly Twitter, and Instagram claimed that Beyoncé's complexion looked much lighter than her younger days and accused her of skin bleaching and trying to look white.

"What in the white woman[?]" one Instagram user commented.

Another claimed, "She's all bleach,"

A third user alleged that Beyoncé was a "white girl [wannabe]."

"I JUST saw Beyoncé in the Olympic inauguration. Is she a white performer? Is she [ashamed] of her roots? Does she want to look like Shakira?" an X user questioned.

"Beyonce is a blonde white woman from the south now," another troll tweeted.

However, Beyoncé's fans defended her from the accusations, suggesting that studio lighting likely made her complexion look lighter than usual.

"That's what kills me because no one can ever name the white woman that Beyoncé is supposedly trying to look like. There are NO white women with these features and this shape," one X user wrote alongside a recent photo and video of the pop superstar.

"2024 and Black people still don't understand how light [affects] the color of your skin on pictures/videos," another commented.

Beyoncé was previously hit with the accusations that she's using products to lighten her skin and trying to look like a white woman over the photos of her at the premiere of her "Renaissance" tour film in November 2023.

In the snaps, the "Halo" singer also sported long, platinum blonde locks and looked stunning in a dazzling metallic gown by Versace, matching opera gloves and silver pumps.

Her mother, Tina Knowles, however, quickly shut down what she called "racist" comments about her daughter.

"Beyoncé is a brown skin girl sometimes more or less light. A brown skin girl it's [sic] more than a skin color. It's a culture, a pride, a strength," she wrote alongside a montage of videos of Beyoncé over the years with her skin tone appearing in different shades.

"She does a film, called the ['Renaissance'], where the whole theme is silver with silver hair, a silver carpet, and suggested silver attire and you bozos decide that she's trying to be a white woman and is bleaching her skin? ... How sad is it that some of her own people continue the stupid narrative with hate and jealousy[?]" Knowles added.
