Kevin Hart Wants This Popular Streamer To Play Him In His Biopic
Kevin Hart has made it clear who he envisions portraying him in a biopic.
In a recent conversation with 'VIBE,' Hart discussed his upcoming film, 'Borderlands.' During the chat, he was asked who he would cast to play him in a role about his life. The Philadelphia native named award-winning streamer Kai Cenat to take on the role. Hart and Cenat, 22, have developed a friendly rapport in recent months, including Hart's recent appearance on Cenat's livestream. Hart believes Cenat would deliver a "phenomenal" performance if cast in the role.
"Is that where we are? 'Kevin, who do you want to play you?' Oh my goodness. I mean, when we get to that point, it's definitely a great conversation. I would say in a perfect world, in the future — because I got a feeling that they'll be able to knock it out the park because of the way they'll be — Kai Cenat," Hart, 45, answered.
"Cut the dreads and stuff off, I think he can get in there and pull out a phenomenal performance," the 'Ride Along' actor said.
Hart and Cenat also recently collaborated on a freestyle track, with Hart adopting his "Chocolate Droppa" persona.
Hart also appeared on 'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert' where he boasted about his fitness, even making a light-hearted jab at Colbert's own workout routine. He also mentioned his training sessions with Anderson Cooper, humorously noting that Cooper, 57, couldn't quite match his level.
However, some viewers were less impressed with Hart's choice to wear sunglasses during the indoor interview.
Comments on YouTube interview reflected fans questioning the decision to wear dark shades inside and speculating about possible reasons for his appearance.
"I find it so off-putting I put the interview on 1.5 speed just to see if he explains it as I make commentary. Is something wrong with his vision lately or pink eye? It's an indoor interview, dude... please take off those dark shades," one comment read.
'Borderlands' will be released in theaters on August 7.
