Pokémon X and Y Pokédex: X and Y Exclusives; New Starter Pokémon; Three Sections For Central, Coastal, Mountain Kalos VIDEO
Nintendo will release the long awaited Pokémon X and Y is only days away and gamers are wondering what they will find inside their Pokédex.
According to the Pokémon Database, the X and Y Pokédex will be split into three different sections. These will include the Central Kalos Pokédex, the Coastal Kalos Pokédex, and the Mountain Kalos Pokédex.
Due to the accidental early release of some games in Italy and Canada, some portions of the Pokédex has been leaked. However, Nintendo has also given a long list of the creatures players will encounter during their journey.
New Starter Pokémon include Chespin, a Grass type that evolves to Quilladin with Overgrow ability; Fennekin, a Fire type that evolves to Braixen and gains Blaze ability; and Froakie, a Water type that evolves to Frogadier and gains Torrent ability. All six of these creatures are featured in the Central Kalos Pokédex.
The games will also feature several Pokémon that are exclusive to either X or Y. For X this includes Swirlix, a Fairy type that evolves to Slurpuff with Sweet Veil ability that is found in the Central Kalos Pokédex. X also comes with a new Legendary Pokémon, Xerneas, which is a Fairy type with Fairy Auro ability that is found in the Mountain Kalos Pokédex.

Buyers who chose Y will receive Spritzee, also a Fairy type that evolves to Aromatisse with Healer ability that is found in the Central Kalos Pokedex. Y also comes with a Legendary Pokémon, Yveltal, which is a Dark-Flying type with Dark Aura ability and can be found in the Mountain Kalos Pokédex.
Pokémon X and Y will be released on Oct. 12.
