Miranda Lambert slammed the rumors that she achieved her recent weight loss through surgery.

Lambert caused speculation that she underwent surgery to help drop the punds after she revealed a slimmer body frame at the 2013 CMA Awards on Nov. 5.

Lambert, 30, shared with fans on her Four The Record blog, "Though I NEVER care what the tabloids have to say about me... I wanted to address this certain story they are running this week and set the record straight. I DID NOT have surgery to lose weight," she wrote.

"That is ridiculous," she added. "I lost my weight the healthy and good old fashioned way. Watching what I eat and working out with my trainer Bill Crutchfield."

She explained in the blog post that she was unsure about how many pounds she dropped, but that it didn't matter, as she was more concerned with how her clothes fit.

"Like I have always said, it's not about a scale, it's about how you feel and how your jeans fit," she explained. "And on November 10th when I turned 30, my skinny jeans were finally baggy! Mission accomplished!"

She advised her fans to be confident at any dress size and not believe everything they read.

"So for anyone who is tempted to read the 'Trash Talk' please don't. I am proud to be a normal size girl and I want to encourage everyone to be confident at any size. Thanks for the support y'all!"

She wore a bright blue beaded dress with a halter neck and plunging neckline. Her husband was so in awe he wrote on his Twitter, "My wife is so hot it's ridiculous."

The night before the CMA Awards, Lambert told press backstage at the BMI Awards that she had been exercising to help shed the punds.

"I've been working out," she said, then revealed she was motivated by turning 30 the following week.

"I just feel like I needed to get ahead of the game - I'm going to be 30 on Sunday and people say, are you OK about turning 30 and I guess I am, but I guess I'm not because I feel like everybody always says 'It goes downhill from there.' So I just thought, maybe if I get ahead of it a little I won't have to work so hard later in life," she explained.
