'American Horror Story' Season 4 Premiere: Curious Boy Gets Sucked Into Freak Show In New 'Peek A Boo' Trailer [VIDEO]
A new teaser trailer for FX's American Horror Story: Freak Show has been released, giving fans a taste of the danger lurking within the big tent.
FX released the teaser titled Peek A Boo, featuring three small boys peeking under the tent to the freak show. One of the boys whispers, "There's something in there."
There are a few seconds of silence before the middle boy is suddenly pulled into the tent forcefully by some sort of ravenous monster. It is at this point that the logo for American Horror Story: Freak Show alongside Amanda Jenssen's song The Carnival.
American Horror Story: Freak Show takes place in Jupiter, Fla. in 1952 where one of the last remaining freak shows in America tries to stay afloat. It is the dawn of television and more and more people are uninterested in the various "freak" performers.
Elsa Mars (Jessica Lange) owns the freak show and is desperate to attract new business. She soon finds Dot and Bette Tattler (Sarah Paulson), conjoined twins who Elsa wishes to hail as the new main attraction.
There are many outside forces who aren't impressed by the freak show, including the season's villain, Twisty the Clown (John Carroll Lynch), a retired clown who has a penchant for murder and is not happy about the freak show's arrival in town.
American Horror Story: Freak Show is set to debut on Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
