Faith Hill, Tim McGraw Relationship: Country Superstars Dish On How They Mantain A 'Normal' Marriage In The Face Of Fame [VIDEO]
Even when faced with divorce rumors, married country singers are still going strong after 18 years of marriage.
With the release of McGraw's new album Sundown Heaven Town comes the latest duet between him and Hill in the form of Meanwhile Back at Mama's.
The singer took some time to talk a little about the music with E!, even dishing on the secret to his happy marriage.
"I think, for us, being as normal as possible and raising our family and being in a family situation as much as possible… certainly it's different because of what we both do, but we try to keep it as much of a family environment as we can," McGraw told the publication on Friday.
"For us, we leave the front doors when we go to work, but when we're home, we don't talk about none of the music that much…" he continued. "It's a while different world."
With three daughters and a country home in Nashville, the singers relish in the opportunity to just be together. Though McGraw has battled substance abuse and struggled to enter the music business, he married Hill in 1996 and it seems to have been smooth sailing from then as he continues to move forward with poise and dignity, giving back to the community with Veterans projects as well as being there for his family.
Sundown Heaven Town was released September 16 and is now available in stores.
