Celebrity Photo Hacking Scandal 2014: Kaley Cuoco Claims Most Nude Photos Were 'Fake' & Reveals What She's Done To Protect Herself [VIDEO]
Recently actress Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting from CBS's hit comedy The Big Bang Theory opened up and the celebrity photo hacking scandal, giving her take on the incredible invasion of privacy with grace and humor.
During an interview with Extra TV on Friday (featured below), Extra's Renée Bargh asked the actress how one can protect herself against this kind of hacking.
"Don't take naked photos," Cuoco-Sweeting stated bluntly. "That would be a good start."
The actress went on to reveal that while some of those photos leaked back in August were certainly real, others were in fact not authentic. "Just so everyone knows," insisted Cuoco-Sweeting, "A lot of those were not real. A lot of them were completely fake, if you look really closely."
As for changes she's made since the scandal, the CBS star joked that she's taken to a new means of photo-taking. "I've now taken to Polaroid cameras," she declared. "So I just carry a big Polaroid around my neck. Self-a-roid. That's what I do now."
The leaked photos have been deemed a disgraceful invasion of privacy across the nation, exploiting stars like Jennifer Lawrence, Jessie J and Jenny McCarthy. Lawrence's stance against the stolen photos has made her the face of the campaign, which aspires to ultimately change laws regarding privacy and theft of digital materials.
"No one can get those," Cuoco-Sweeting added. "Polaroid cameras. That's the way to go."
