The announcement that the sequel to "Red Dead Redemption" will be released in late 2017 has fueled speculation that "Grand Theft Auto 6" or "GTA 6" is also on its way.
"GTA 6" may be a number of years away, as some fans may have discovered. "GTA 6" is one Rockstar Games title that could be drawing close to more potential news, as the relative sequel "Red Dead Redemption 2" is already in the works.
Unverified reports are spreading that after Rockstar Games is finished with "Red Dead Redemption 2," "GTA 5" will be closed down to make way for the development of "GTA 6."
While "GTA" players are excitedly awaiting the release of "GTA 6," it seems like Rockstar Games is focused on "Red Dead Redemption 2" slated to be released by late 2017.
