'Jersey Shore' Canceled After Six Seasons; Star Ronnie Magro Says It's 'Bittersweet'

"The Jersey Shore" series -- which was basically free advertising for tanning salons everywhere (other than "Tan Mom") -- is being canceled after six seasons and three years of being on air. The show peaked in ratings with as many as 8 million viewers tuning in; however, ratings declined in more recent seasons, according to the Associated Press.
