The power has finally shifted in the Big Brother 17 house, and it's looking like a huge move is about to be made.

'Big Brother 17's Shelli & Clay Still In Hot Water As Other Side Of The House Targets Them

Is 'Big Brother 17' Shaping Up To Be Better Than Season 15 & 16?

The endurance HOH lasted for several hours after the Big Brother 17 episode on Thursday, but luckily, fans were able to watch it go down on the live feeds. The competition ultimately came down to James, John and Shelli,

When James told John that he is safe this week, John dropped down. Shelli then made a deal with James to ensure her and Clay's safety, to which James agreed. Shelli stepped down and James officially became the first solo HOH of the season.

With this being the first time Shelli, Clay and Vanessa aren't in power, we are looking at a potentially big move to really shake up the house. The trio became (and still are) very paranoid and are freaking out at the possibility of being put up for nomination.

All of them individually campaigned to James at one point or another on Thursday night (and well into Friday morning).

But when James got alone with Jackie, Meg and Becky, he revealed his plan to possibly backdoor Shelli. His list of nominees could include Austin, Liz or Vanessa, but the ultimate plan is to get Shelli up and out.

Becky ratted the plan out to Clay, which sent him and Shelli into full blown panic mode. Shelli then told Vanessa about James' plan.

No matter which way it goes down, this is looking like a very different type of week than we've been getting thus far in Big Brother 17. The power alliance is no longer in power and Shelli, who is perhaps the single most dangerous player in the game, has a good chance of being evicted.

But there's still the Power of Veto competition to play. Anything could happen.

Big Brother 17 returns for another episode Sunday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS, featuring the Nomination ceremony.
