'The Walking Dead' Season 6 Spoilers: Norman Reedus Dishes On 'Wild Animals' Versus 'Civilization' Dynamic Of New Season [VIDEO]
Fans are expecting one group that's a version of wild animals on the upcoming season of The Walking Dead, but it's the group they've been invested in from the beginning that they may be most surprised by.
Is Negan About To Make An Appearance In Season 6?
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Norman Reedus, who portrays Daryl Dixon on the popular series talked about how the new season will be different in a lot of ways, especially as he and rest of Rick Grimes' (Andrew Lincoln) group continue trying to adjust to life behind the walls of Alexandria.
"Season 6 is much different than the previous seasons," he says. "It's kind of our group being okay with stability and fighting stability and figuring out if we can actually live with other people."
Will Tara Be The Next One To Die?
Though fans saw the beginnings of that struggle during the final episodes of season 5, it appears that season 6 will delve even more into that dynamic, as the two groups also try figuring out how to unite against the enemies facing them outside of Alexandria's walls.
"You've taken a bunch of wild animals and put them in a domestic environment, and some of them prefer to be wild animals, and some of them can't figure out how to be anything other than that," he said. "So we've come to a place where we can live with the public or live in a community and us having inner turmoil with trying to discover if that's possible at all."
The Walking Dead season 6 premieres Oct. 11 at 9 p.m. on AMC.
