The Big Brother 17 houseguests may have finally made their decision on who to send home at this week's eviction.

'Big Brother 17's Jackie Catching On To Vanessa's Schemes, Is She The Next Target?

Shelli Melts Down After 'Big Brother' Nomination Ceremony

For several days now, there has been some debate as to whether to send Clay or Shelli home. HOH James has been adamant about sending out Shelli, the bigger threat strategically and competitively. But Vanessa does not want to send Shelli out, considering she is way closer to her than she is Clay.

Because of Vanessa's manipulative power over several houseguests, she is probably going to get her way. Vanessa and Steve are definitely voting to evict Clay but she needs three more people to guarantee a majority. This is where Austin, Julia and Liz come in.

While the bond between Vanessa and Austin is weakening, she still has sway over him and continues to make the point that Shelli would be a bigger target to keep around than Clay would be. Austin and the twins had several discussions on Wednesday and even though the twins are wary of Shelli, it looks like they're going to do what's in their best interest by voting out Clay.

Meanwhile, it's slowly getting back to James that there is another plan in place to evict Clay instead of Shelli, and the reigning HOH is not happy about this. He had a discussion with Jackie and Meg where they agreed they should have used the Veto on Clay and nominated the more strategic and sneaky Vanessa.

As of Thursday morning it's looking like Clay will be evicted. The vote breakdown isn't secure but with Austin, Julia, Liz, Steve and Vanessa pretty much agreeing to vote Clay out, there is very little anyone else can do. But considering how paranoid these houseguests are, anything can happen in the hours leading up to the eviction.

Big Brother 17 airs tonight at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CBS. The new episode will feature the live eviction and the next Head of Household competition.
