She finally decided to give him the benefit of the doubt after she was forced into asking him to be the face of her company's newest product, but Kate (Lauren Koslow) may be shocked when she stops by Paul's (Christopher Sean) hotel room and sees something she never expected on Days of Our Lives.

Will Makes An Unexpected and Surprising Move

Part of her initial push with Paul was to have the rival company headed up by her son take him on as the spokesmodel for their own line so he would be forced to leave Salem and could no longer pose a problem for Will (Guy Wilson) and Sonny (Freddie Smith). However, after Lucas (Bryan Datillo) rejected her offer, Kate was forced to work with the ex-baseball star.

However, she may quickly realize now as she brings him the contracts to sign that Paul isn't a threat to Will and Sonny anymore-especially when he answers the door shirtless-and Derek (Charles Parnell) appears in the background in nothing more than a towel.

Will Schemes To Keep Paul and Sonny Apart

Following the pair's double date with Sonny and Will, where they were all accosted by two men hurling gay slurs at them, Derek walked out of the situation with a black eye. Afterwards, he and Paul started to get closer, and began kissing. Now, it will appear the budding relationship has progressed even further-meaning Kate no longer has to try scheming on Will's behalf to try and save the troubled marriage he and Sonny are in.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
