'Big Brother 17' Spoilers: John Secures New Deal With Shelli & Steve, Vanessa Still The Target

Power Finally Shifts in the 'Big Brother 17' House
Becky has made it clear to Jackie, James, John, Meg, Shelli and Steve that she wants to send Vanessa out the door next Thursday. She nominated Shelli and Steve on Friday, but only to serve as pawns heading into the Veto competition.
Throughout the night, Liz, John and Steve expressed that they would be throwing the Veto competition. The plan is to take Shelli down and put Vanessa on the block next to Steve.
Meanwhile, John started to finally step up his game once he knew that it might be on the line. After all, her correctly pointed out that once Vanessa picks a fight with you, as she had on Thursday, the other person goes home. Vanessa has indeed been gunning for John as a backdoor option, so John has started to really play the game.
John went to Shelli on Friday, telling her key information in the hope of securing a deal. He said that Vanessa had made a deal to try to get out whoever stayed between Shelli and Clay the next week. John and Shelli officially made a deal and said they wanted to rope in Steve.
John and Steve had a long discussion where John admitted that he would use the Veto on Shelli if he were to win it. He said that he wants Vanessa's blood on his hands.
When Steve was alone, he spoke to himself (and the live feeders) extensively about not being sure what to do next. He has made a few deals with Vanessa in the past and doesn't know if he should tell John about them.
For now, it looks like most people will use the Veto on Shelli if they win. Unless Vanessa wins the Veto, it's a virtual guarantee that she is going up and out the door. But things change in the Big Brother house. And Vanessa is a schemer. Will she get out of this one, though?
Big Brother 17 returns for a new episode Sunday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
