"The Big Bang Theory" returns on Thursday with an all new episode titled "Fish Guts Displacement."

The story primarily revolves around Amy (Mayim Bialik) coming down with a cold and Sheldon (Jim Parsons) who must nurse her back to health.

CBS gave out the following episode 10 synopsis on its website:

"Sheldon tries to nurse a sick Amy back to health, while Wolowitz prepares for an upcoming fishing trip with his father-in-law."

Since Sheldon is an extremely impatient person, he will literally do everything he possibly can to miraculously cure Amy. In one instance, he informs her of the beauty of the placebo effect while giving her a Tic-Tac "with healing powers." However, none of Sheldon's efforts seem to aid Amy in any way - that is until he offers to apply VapoRub to her chest, which instantly brings optimism and happiness to Amy's face.

The upcoming episode will also show Howard (Simon Helberg) attempting to get along with Bernadette's dad (Casey Sander) by joining him on a fishing venture, which will likely not go as initially anticipated.

Unorthodox scenarios have seemingly been a regular thing for the cast of the popular series. Parsons recently told Conan O'Brien about a near embarrassing experience with a French maid outfit.

"That was supposed to be Princess Leia slave bikini," Parson said, but it was scratched from the show because he felt that it was "a lot of skin" or possibility because he wasn't in "the kind of shape needed to be seen wearing it."

Parsons also told O'Brien that he would need three months worth of working out in order to sport such a revealing two piece.

"The Big Bang Theory" will air its new episode on Thursday, Dec. 6, at 8 p.m. EST.
